Since it’s been all about my favorites at Cover Stories, I thought I’d end my day here with the singing sequence from Paul Thomas Anderson’s Magnolia.

This is my favorite movie for a lot of reasons, and Anderson’s brave choice to have all the characters singing along to Aimee Mann’s “Wise Up” before the film’s climax kicks in is certainly one of them.

Love it.

Puff Chrissy Fact: I’ve seen this movie in cinemas more times than any other movie. And it’s the only movie I’ve seen in cinemas in two different countries. And if you’re interested, the second movie I’ve seen the most times in the cinema was Cemetery  Man.
